ELVIS – RIDDEN PROSPECT
Breed: Cob
Colour: Piebald
Gender: Gelding
Height: 13.1hh
Date of Birth: 2021
Medical Conditions: None Known
Foster Donation: £250
Story: Elvis came into the care of Essex Horse & Pony Protection Society in April 2022 when his owner relinquished him into our care due to being unable to continue looking after him. They had attempted to secure a home for him, but this fell through, and they turned to us for help. Thankfully we had space and were able to accommodate him.
Personality: He is a kind natured soul and gets along with his other field companions.
Experience: Elvis is good for the farrier and vet, good to bath and is used to farm machinery. He loads and travels well, both alone and in company. He has been lunged and long reined all over the farm and roads along where he is currently fostered. He has also experienced trips to the beach and local shows where he was always well behaved and happy to stand all day with a hay net.
Type of home: Elvis is looking for a foster home with someone looking for a ridden project to develop and bring on throughout 2025. Someone who will build him up slowly. He is still with his current fosterer near Maldon, Essex whilst a new foster family is found.
