Voluntary work
Hardworking, reliable volunteers are the backbone of any Charity.
We often have openings within EHPPS for voluntary workers to join our team and have a host of tasks we need your help with!
All volunteers must be aged 16 years or over.
Volunteering in the stables
We welcome volunteers at EHPPS, however for insurance purposes, we can only accept people with previous equine experience/knowledge to work alongside the horses and ponies.
Voluntary fundraisers
If you are organised, innovative and would like to help us raise funds for the rescue horses and ponies at the Sanctuary, you could be just who we’re looking for!
Leaflet distributors
If you are unable to help us on a regular basis but do have an odd hour here and there, why not help the horses by delivering some of our leaflets in your area to create awareness of our work?
Work Experience
Placements for work experience within EHPPS are for dedicated equine studies courses in the form of full time apprenticeships only.
We provide shorter term work experience for veterinary students who are already at university.
We have to limit work experience placements in this way as we simply can’t accommodate everyone, as much as we’d love to!
