LIVVY – RIDEABLE
Breed: Cob X Dartmoor
Colour: Bay
Gender: Mare
Height: 12.3hh
Date of Birth: April 2014
Medical Conditions: Has had laminitis in the past, sometimes makes a raspy sound when breathing but doesn’t affect her.
Foster Donation: £250
Story: Livvy was relinquished into the care of EHPPS in July 2021 due to her owner’s diminishing health.
Personality: She loves people and enjoys a fuss but can be grumpy towards other horses.
Experience: Livvy is good to catch and handle. She has been mainly used as a lead rein pony and is still very green. She is currently learning to understand the aids off the lead rein but still seeks guidance/comfort from someone on the ground. Her last foster home failed to get her saddle fitted properly which developed into a reactive issue. She has had her back treated and in a properly fitting saddle is quite content to carry a rider.
Type of home: Livvy is looking for a loving foster home with someone with the knowledge and patience to bring her on. She has had laminitis in the past so will require her weight monitoring, but she has happily lived out 24/7 here at the sanctuary on a 10 acre paddock in the herd for the past few months with no issues.
