Story: Pedro came into the care of EHPPS via our friends at New Hope Animal Rescue for rehoming. He was found abandoned on the roads by the local police and no one ever came forward to claim him.
Personality: Pedro is a very confident boy, he LOVES playing with other horses but sometimes doesn’t know when the other horse has had enough. He is good to groom and have his feet done. Pedro is good to catch and lead but can be a little strong. He wants to walk right next to you and sometimes needs reminding of personal body space. He has been in a mixed herd and settled well.
Experience: We are unsure of what experience this little guy has had before coming to us and due to his age we haven’t yet started any ridden work with him. He does not appreciate clippers and will need time spent with him to get over this dislike.
Type of Home: Someone confident to help bring this boy along in his handling and ridden work when he reaches maturity, both physically and mentally. A fosterer looking to take their time building a bond and putting in the foundation, who will keep him in check if his cheeky side starts to shine but not dull his sparkle. He will benefit from the companionship of an equally playful horse.
