FRANKIE – COMPANION

Breed: Cob x Fell
Colour: Dark Bay
Gender: Gelding
Height: 13.3hh
Date of Birth: 1998
Medical Conditions: Has some missing teeth
Foster Donation: £100

Story: Frankie and another pony were illegally fly grazing on Thames Water Authority land. The duo were relinquished into our care in October 2002 once the requisite 14 day notice period had expired.

Personality: A loveable, cheeky chap, Frankie lies to pair up with another horse and that becomes his best friend. He has a sweet, if a little grumpy, disposition. He sometimes forgets his manners in the stable and can become a little bolshy, especially when separated from his chosen chum.

Experience: Frankie is good to handle in all ways.

Type of home: Frankie would love a companion home where he could see out the rest of his days. Somewhere peaceful where he can graze. His missing teeth sometimes cause him to quid so we don’t give him chaff in his feed, preferring to subsidise his requirement with increased forage.

***If you would like to find out more or think you could give this lad the home he deserves then we ask that you complete a foster application form in the first instance.
